I was looking through my phone trying to clean out some of my previous snapshots and I come across this image I shot a few weeks ago. I remember we were having lunch and I took a few snaps of the waiting area still learning how to use the app called VintageScene. This is what I came up with. Not great, but I still liked it. Enjoy.

I was out early this morning with hopes to photograph the first sunrise of 2012. Well, it turned out to be a very overcast morning and the sun rose behind the thick cloud coverage. I was a little disappointed but then realized that not everything goes according to plan.
This is a new year with new visions and goals for our family. Although sometimes a temporary dark cloud may hinder our plans we will look forward and remember that the bright of day is right behind and, yes, the sun will shine.
Happy New Year! 2012, here we come.
